Brian Wesbury

Mr. Wesbury is the Chief Economist for the Joint Economic Committee of Congress. The Committee is the economic reserach arm of Congress. Mr. Wesbury is responsible for policy analysis, research and management of the economics staff. Mr. Wesbury, formerly the Chief Economist at Griffin, Kubik, Stephens & Thompson, Inc. in Chicago, was the winner of The Bond Buyer 1994 Interest Rate Forecasting survey.

Mr. Wesbury earned his B.A. in Economics at the University of Montana and his MBA at Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Mr. Wesbury has been a featured speaker at state banking associations, can be heard on WBBM radio in Chicago, and his work has been published on Telerate, in the Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune and in Investor's Daily.
