Time Marches
On... but Vitamin B doesn't
Dear Friends -- After 22 months and 441 doses, today marks the final Vitamin B. Our chief Daily Dose researcher and webmaster Max Jacobs is taking his wetware East to join the Cato Institute. We are excited for Max, and pleased for Cato. For The Bionomics Institute, the time ahead will be quiet, but not silent. Our website -- which now has over 800 pages and 15 MB of information -- will remain, and we look forward to periodic issues of The Journal of Bionomics and the occasional speaking engagement and writing assignment, as well as the inoculation of bionomic thought into Spanish and Russian language audiences. This is, if anything, a time of dormancy. Institute President Michael Rothschild and I, while committing our professional time to Maxager Technology, continue to watch with interest (and no small degree of amazement) the way that the biologic is replacing the mechanical in our economic mindset. From cocktail parties to the pages of the Wall Street Journal, the language we use to describe the economy increasingly reflects the organic reality of the Information Age -- the paradigm IS shifting. And we look forward to the next metamorphosis of The Bionomics Institute, whatever and whenever it may come. Our sincere thanks to all of you who have read, forwarded to friends, and even contributed to Vitamin B. And, of course, to those of you who have supported the work of the Institute over the years. Keep in touch. Best regards,
